Article 002: The Astrometaphysical Scientific Method
The Philosophical Principles Guiding the Astrometaphysicist in the Study of the Human Mind

Abstract:

It has been widely agreed upon across the intellectual community that consciousness is not subject to the laws of nature.[1] Consciousness appears to be metaphysical and as such cannot be quantitively measured. Since observation shows that for everything to function it must have a mechanism, the astrometaphysicist reasonably assumes that there is also an empiric metaphysical mechanism that is enabling consciousness to function. Normally, the 300-year-old traditional scientific method requires a form of measuring; however mental phenomena cannot be quantified. For this reason and others, CRIORG.institute’s research team recognized a necessity to align the scientific method with the study of consciousness and other metaphysical phenomena.

The traditional scientist is searching for concrete, mathematical evidence to support a research postulation. The astrometaphysicist, on the other hand, is searching for a solid theory that would explain a never-before-understood metaphysical phenomenon. He or she observes their own mental activity while comparing it to the conscious experience of others. This comparison is done in order to detect an empirical scale of qualitative differences that would eventually reveal a consistent astrometaphysical (mental) pattern. Because of a potentiated relationship between the metaphysical dimension and the physical one, this newly discovered astrometaphysical phenomena further elucidate the physical phenomena being potentiated. The output of the astrometaphysical scientific method is a firm empiric theory that would enable traditional scientists to perform groundbreaking quantitative research in their own unique field of interest.

This article substantiates the fundamental research assumptions that are guiding the astrometaphysicist in his or her quest to reveal the mechanism that allows human consciousness to form. The article then continues to list the various methods and tools with which the astrometaphysicist creates a measuring scale allowing him or her to observe their own consciousness and the consciousness of others in an objective manner.

Finally, the article lists the recommended steps of the astrometaphysical scientific method that is used to conduct consciousness research at our institute (a practical example demonstrating the use of this method is provided in article 003)
