Consciousness Research Institute, LLC was founded by Erez Batat in 2019. The organization is dedicated to the advancement of human potential through the research, development and education of consciousness-related sciences. Our mission is to make sense of the human mind, and deliver our findings as both scientific literature, as well as quality educational content.
The institute specializes in experimental, first and second hand research of the impact consciousness altering substances (CAS) have on our mental qualia. We are fascinated by questions such as "why does time seems to pass slower/faster under the influence of cannabis?", or "why does DMT causes a psychedelic experience that is always geometric in nature?" etc. Since psychedelics shift our perception of time and space, we believe them to be an excellent tool of consciousness research.
We specialize in thought experiments and theoretical research, as well as in mental experiments using cannabis (in our WA based community, where cannabis has been legalized since 2012). We focus our efforts to understand the mental faculties of memory, reason, and imagination, as well as our time and sensory perception. We also investigate the nature of elevated states of consciousness.
In addition, the institute specializes in the research of Hebrew Metaphysics, a 4,500-year-old body of knowledge that is said to contain a map of the human psyche. This vast body of knowledge is mainly in Hebrew and Aramaic. It cleverly outlines a blueprint of the conscious and self-conscious human mind, as well as the mechanism behind human emotions, sexuality and other aspects of our subconscious mind.
Our home is in Spokane, WA, in the United States. We also operate from Jerusalem, Israel, where we collaborate with other leading consciousness researchers, organizations, and community members.
